Some of the best hockey players in town over the holidays gathered for a Boxing Day all-star match at the Agnico Eagle Arena in Rankin Inlet Tuesday, Dec. 26.

Both wearing Kivalliq Canucks colours, Team Makpah took an early lead and never looked back, defeating Team Ningeongan 5-1 in three 15-minute periods.

A short handshake line and a few wishes of Merry Christmas sent everyone back home to continue the family time following the game.
