Residents of Iqaluit are advised by the City that a water shutdown will be happening in the Core Area on Thursday, Jan. 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to allow repairs to the water infrastructure.
The interruption will be taking place at these buildings: 157, 159, 161, 163, 165, 166, 168, 170, 183, 185 (a to f), 187 (a to f), 189 (a to f), 192 and 350.
The City is also issuing a boil water advisory for the residents of these buildings.
They recommend that "all water used for consumption and dental hygiene is brought to a rolling boil for a minimum of one full minute."
The City will release a public service announcement when the boil water advisory is lifted.
