RCMP's Major Crimes Unit have charged two people with second-degree murder in Pond Inlet.
Pond Inlet officers responded to a disturbance in the early morning hours of April 7, and found a deceased 21-year-old man.
"The circumstances surrounding his death is suspicious and is being treated as a homicide," according to the news release.
A man and a woman face second-degree murder charges, and both have been remanded into custody.
The next scheduled court appearance for both is April 9 in Iqaluit.
