Youngsters in Cambridge Bay eagerly laced up their skates and got out on the ice at the community arena on Tuesday afternoon. Arena staff ran out of skates and helmets to issue.

The arena never opened in 2018 and was just given approvals to resume operations after a mould removal project that took longer than planned.
