Rankin sweep

It was a sweep for the host community when the V-Team captured the Laura Gauthier Memorial (LGM) Tournament female crown and Hang'n'Bang took the men's title in Rankin Inlet on Oct. 27.

Ten teams battled in the female division, while four competed in the men's.

The LGM is one of the longest running annual volleyball tournaments in Nunavut.

The tourney is named in honour of Laura Gauthier, who lived almost her entire life in the North, and passed away in August 2000.
