Nunavummiut had their chance to mingle with NDP leader Jagmeet Singh and NDP MP Mumilaaq Qaqqaq at Iqaluit’s Black Heart cafe on Nov. 30.

The politicians arrived around 10 a.m. wearing their orange and grey custome-made parkas. They posed for photos and conversed with the public for a short period of time.

Singh and Qaqqaq then went to the Christmas Arts and Crafts fair at the Inukshuk High School around 12:30 p.m. The line-up for taking photos with the two politicians formed immediately upon their arrival.

Later today, around 7:30 p.m. Singh is planning on watching the QPI and RL Hanson exhibition game at the Arctic Winter Games Arena.

On Sun. Dec. 1, Singh will be making an announcement at the Qajuqturvik Food Centre around 11:30 a.m.
