The police have arrested a man wanted on two counts of assault causing bodily harm and two counts of failing to comply with probation orders.
The RCMP issued a news release Wednesday indicating that Paulooise Alainga, 37, was in custody as of Tuesday night at 11:20 p.m., and he will remain in jail until his next scheduled court date in Iqaluit on Thursday.
The Mounties also thanked the public for their assistance in this matter.
