Iqaluit RCMP have a home surrounded in the 200 block area of Iqaluit and are asking residents nearby to remain indoors and for everyone else to avoid the area.
The police are describing this as a “dynamic situation” that is “quickly unfolding.” The V Division Containment Team has been called to participate in the response.
There are no other details in the RCMP news release, which was issued around 7 a.m.
