A music video is also tentatively scheduled to be shot in Rankin Inlet on Dec. 16.

Power woes

Rankin Inlet

The series of power outages and brownouts that plagued Rankin Inlet from Nov. 16 to Nov. 18 is being attributed to an unexpected programming issue that caused a generator in the community to shut down, according to a public service announcement released by the Qulliq Energy Corp. on Nov. 21.
All generators in the community were operated manually until repair crews could resolve the problem.
