Reason for running:

The Government of Nunavut has to consider the infrastructure needs of communities outside the capital. There are issues affecting us Nunavut-wide, like homelessness. Private home-ownership is causing hardship. The government pushed the issue of private homeownership without any subsidization.

The standard of education is very important so our youth can compete nationwide with other youth in terms of university, college level entries.

Employment within smaller communities has to be explored with job creation.

Health issues within the communities, including boarding homes for travelling medical patients, is lacking. This includes mental health, which has to be explored with bicultural, bilingual techniques. Preventative suicide plans have to be implemented. Telehealth has to be improved through fibre optic right across Nunavut.
