A new feature of the Qikiqtani Industry Trade Show at this year’s Nunavut Mining Symposium was the open-to-the-public day on April 25.

Symposium delegates had the opportunity to peruse this year’s businesses and offerings the day before, where mining industry businesses, regional Inuit associations, government and support services took the opportunity to showcase their products and services.

Executives from the Qikiqtani Inuit Association, Agnico Eagle, Baffinland Iron Mines and Canadian North, among others, were at the Aqsarniit Hotel to represent the businesses with a stake in Nunavut’s mining sector.
