Through ongoing contact tracing investigations, the Government of Nunavut, via social media the evening of April 21, put out a notice of potential COVID-19 exposure at the Chartroom Lounge, located beside the Beer & Wine Store.

It has been determined the exposure period was from Saturday April 10, to Wednesday April 14 inclusive.

Anyone who was there on or after April 10 is being asked to self-monitor for 14 days after their last visit to the Chartroom.

In addition, anyone who has travelled outside of Iqaluit since April 7 is now being asked to isolate for 14 days starting immediately.

More information will be provided at a media update on Friday morning at 11 a.m. EST.
