Amazing hockey trip for Naujaat family

Macleod Arnatiaq and his father, Emmanuel Uttak, have been selected to attend the Travis Hamonic Community program, intended for children of Indigenous descent between the ages of six and 17.

The program also decided to invite Macleod’s younger brother, Pakak Arnatiaq, along for the trip.

The trip includes return airfare to Calgary, two nights hotel accommodation, spending money, dinner the night of the NHL game featuring the Calgary Flames, lower bowl tickets, jerseys and meeting NHLer Hamonic post game.

Macleod was nominated for the program by Tuugaalik High School vice-principal Julia MacPherson.
